Bucket teeth forging and casting process:

Forging: Mainly formed by extrusion at high temperatures. It can refine the grains in the workpiece, with dense internal structure and good performance. It will not cause environmental pollution.

Casting: Molten liquid metal fills the mold for cooling. Air holes are easily formed in the middle of the workpiece. The production process can cause severe environmental pollution.

Forged bucket teeth use forging machinery to apply pressure to special metal billets, which are extruded and formed at high temperatures to refine the crystalline material in the forging, causing it to undergo plastic deformation to obtain certain mechanical properties. After forging, the metal can improve its organizational structure, ensuring that the forged bucket teeth have good mechanical properties, more wear resistance, and longer service life. Castings are made by melting metal at high temperatures, adding auxiliary materials, injecting into the model, and solidifying to obtain castings. Castings produced by this process are prone to gas pores and form sand holes, and their mechanical properties, wear resistance, and service life are lower than those of forgings.

Bucket teeth are generally divided into cast bucket teeth and forged bucket teeth based on their manufacturing methods, and the performance of the two manufacturing methods is different. Generally speaking, forged bucket teeth are more wear-resistant, harder, and have a longer service life, which is twice that of cast bucket teeth, but the price is only 1.5 times.
